Transportation and Pitfall-Avoidance Tips

• Transportation: High-speed rail goes directly to Panzhihua South Railway Station; driving from Chengdu takes about 7 hours. Attractions within the city are relatively spread out, so self-driving or renting a car is strongly recommended. However, Panzhihua is a mountain city with many tunnels and curves, so beginners should drive carefully.
