For farther suburban attractions such as Red Bay, driving yourself, hiring a car, or taking Bus 116 is recommended. The attractions are spread far apart, so relying entirely on buses is not advised.
• Accommodation: If you want sea views, stay in the Jinding Bay area. First-line sea-view guesthouses offer great value in the off-season, with the beach right downstairs. If you want to focus on food, choose somewhere near Erma Road or the old town, where many long-established snack shops are within walking distance, transport is convenient, and value for money is high.
