• Shenglian Mountain: Combining mountain forests, Buddhist temples, and Taoist temples, it is known as “Little Huashan of Western Beijing.” With an average summer temperature of 26°C, it is an excellent summer retreat.

• Yunju Temple: First built between the late Sui and early Tang dynasties, it houses precious Buddhist red flesh relics and the “Three Scriptures”: stone scriptures, wooden scriptures, and tongue-blood scriptures.

• Yinhu Cave: The only karst cave in North China where you can both walk through dry passages and take a boat ride on an underground river. Its signature treasure, the “Owl Silver Fox,” is truly impressive.

• Accommodation: If you are visiting Shidu or the Yesanpo area, you can choose a local homestay or resort. If you are only exploring around the urban area, staying near Liangxiang or Changyang will make dining and transportation more convenient.
• Pitfall Avoidance Tips: Karst caves such as Shihua Cave and Yinhu Cave are quite cool inside, so be sure to bring a light jacket. The cave floors can be wet and slippery, so wear non-slip shoes. In summer, when playing by the river, pay attention to sun protection and safety, and do not walk into deep-water areas.
