Itinerary Route
- Day 1: Arrive in Tongling → have lunch at Yuling Tangcai → spend the afternoon exploring Tongguanshan 1978 → head to Liqiao Water Town in the evening to see the night views and molten-iron fireworks.
- Day 2: Visit Tianjing Lake Park in the morning → go to Changjiang Middle Road Pedestrian Street at noon for local eats → visit Tongling Museum in the afternoon → return home. If you have enough time, you can also spend the whole second day immersed in Yongquan Town.

- Transportation: For high-speed rail, you can choose Tongling Railway Station (closer to the city center) or Tongling North Railway Station (closer to Yongquan Town). City attractions are fairly spread out, so taking taxis throughout is the easiest option, and fares are affordable.
- Accommodation: For convenient food and shopping, stay at a chain hotel near Changjiang Middle Road Pedestrian Street. For a deeper experience, stay at a hotel inside Yongquan Town (including pickup/drop-off and breakfast) or at a nearby guesthouse, which offers better value for money.
Pitfall-Avoidance Tips
- Liqiao Water Town is fairly ordinary during the day, so do not arrive too early in daylight; enter in the evening for the night views and performances.
- The cloud ladder and slide at Yongquan Town require separate fees, and comfortable shoes are recommended. During the red-envelope rain, adults and children should stay separate and pay attention to safety.
- Attractions are far apart, so prioritize taxis for getting around. It is recommended to book tickets online one day in advance, which is better value than buying on site.
- In summer, take mosquito protection and sun protection for outdoor scenic areas. If watching the molten-iron fireworks at night, wearing long pants is recommended.
