• Day 1: Downtown Culture and Food Route

In the morning, visit the Xiaogan Museum to learn about local history, then stroll through Dong Yong Park to experience the legends of filial piety culture. • Xiangyun Bay: Usually free, though fees may apply during holidays. Located in Yunmeng County, it recreates various ancient architectural styles, including Huizhou and Beijing styles. With small bridges and flowing water, it is full of Jiangnan water-town charm, and the illuminated night scenery is especially photogenic.
• Shuangfeng Mountain National Forest Park: Free admission. The highest peak in northeastern Hubei. In summer, the trees provide dense shade, and Yangsi Gorge is suitable for stream tracing and water play, making it a good place for a cool summer hike. Parking costs about RMB 10 per day.
• Xiaogan Fantawild Wild Continent: A dinosaur-themed amusement park. Must-try attractions include “Flying,” Dinosaur Crisis, and Soaring into the Sky. It is recommended to head straight to the popular rides as soon as the park opens. You can visit both the land park and water park in one day.

• Transport Suggestions: It takes about 1 hour to drive from Wuhan, or you can take the high-speed train to Xiaogan East Station, which takes about 30 minutes. Attractions are relatively far apart, so driving yourself or hiring a car is more convenient.
• Ticket Confirmation: Xiangyun Bay is usually free, but it may charge admission during holidays or major promotional events, about RMB 40-50. Check in advance before traveling. Fantawild tickets are relatively expensive, so it is best to compare prices online and buy ahead.
• Gear Preparation: Wear non-slip shoes and bring your own dry food and water when hiking at Shuangfeng Mountain. Be sure to bring sun protection and insect repellent for Guanyin Lake or Fantawild. For water attractions, Crocs-style shoes and your own raincoat are recommended.
