• Day 2: Hiking the Oirase Stream and Boating on Lake Towada
  • Morning: From Platform 11 at Aomori Station, take the JR Bus to Oirase Stream and get off at the “Ishigedo” stop. Hike along the stream to “Kumoi Falls.” The route takes about 1.5–2 hours, with a gentle trail and soothing greenery everywhere.

• Afternoon: From the Kumoi Falls stop, take the JR Bus to Lake Towada’s “Nenokuchi” or “Yasumiya,” then board a sightseeing boat to take in the lake and mountain views, followed by a lakeside stroll.
