• Transportation: Fukuoka Airport is extremely close to the city center, with the subway reaching Hakata Station in just 5 minutes. For getting around the city, subway + walking is recommended, and a one-day subway pass offers better value. Take the Nishitetsu train to nearby Dazaifu, and JR to Mojiko.
• Accommodation: If you need convenient train access, stay around Hakata Station, where transportation is extremely convenient. If shopping is your priority, the Tenjin area is recommended, with dense shopping districts and lively nightlife.
